Residents of Cape Coast and its environs will soon experience a new whiff of radio programming as Asaase Radio invades the territory with the finest talents in broadcasting.
Raza Swaggy, one of the most sought-after media personalities in the Central Region, is the host of the station’s late afternoon show, ‘Rush Hour’.
The show runs from 2 pm to 5 pm on weekdays on Asaase Radio 100.3 MHz.

Raza was born in the late 1980s in Cape Coast. He attended St. Nicholas Anglican Basic School, Adisadel College, and the University of Cape Coast for his first degree.
It was during his national service 2011/12 that he joined coastal TV and became their entertainment show (Coastal Vibe and later Funky Fridays) host, right after that.
He decided to try radio in 2014 so joined Cape FM where he started as a sports presenter, became a cohost to the Orange Drive, and then the main Host in July 2016.
He gained admission for a Master’s programme at in the University of Cape Coast in September 2017 and months into combining school and radio he parted ways with Cape FM to concentrate on education.
Five (5) months into that radio kept calling and with ATL FM being on the same campus he’s schooling, joined them in April 2018, where he started off as the morning show host, briefly hosted the mid-morning, and finally settled on the Ocean drive and then become the host of the award-winning relationship Talk show, “Love Reasons” , for which he wrote and recorded a song with the same title.
During his time at ATL, he won the Media Personality of the year by CeBA and the Brunch show host of the year by CeMA.
