Shatta Wale’s easy walkover in relation to the just ended 3Music awards is still dominating main discourse on mainstream and social media.
Well, it’s not like he doesn’t deserve it but few of the awards that went to him were deem controversial at the expense of his main rivals, Stonebwoy and Sarkodie.
The CEO of 3Music Awards, Sadiq Abdulai Abu in an interview with Hitz FM on the programme, Day Break Hitz explained why Shatta Wale won 8 awards on the night.
According to Sadiq, it was the public; probably his legions of Shatta Movement fans that helped Shatta Wale to sweep 8 awards and not the Board and Academy.
Sadiq also revealed that Shatta Wale did not even get enough votes from the Board and Academy.
