Citi FM’s annual ‘Help A Christmas Child’ initiative decided to spend the Boxing Day with patients in the Reconstructive Plastic Surgery and Burns Centre of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.
The team arrived as early as 9 am in Citi apparels to share in the patients’ pain, make donations and celebrate the season with them.
There were Santas dressed just like Father Christmas, bearing gifts.
The team sang with the children, prayed with them, cut cake, danced to nice tunes and made merry as the season suggests.
Aside from sharing warmth, food, drinks and jollying with the patients, the Citi team hopes to renovate one of the wards in the centre with their contributions.
