Stonebwoy to meet the press on Thursday Feb. 6

As part of the mechanism arrayed to officially disseminate articulate information and answer questions from the media regarding his 2020 music agenda and to foster positive news, Burniton Music Group (BMG), a talent management hub of multiple awards-winning Reggae/Ragga & Dance-hall artiste, Stonebwoy has announced a “Meet The Press With Stonewboy” session which is slated for February 7, 2020.

The meeting is also aims at Burniton Music Group at large deepening its ties with the media and share its forecast/prospects of the year for Ghana’s globally respected and Reggae/Ragga & Dance-hall luminary, Stonebwoy in this month of love and one that significantly commemorates Black History. The discussions will include, but not be limited to Stonebwoy’s set-to-be-released Album, Grand Opening of the Bhim Shop and his North American Tour.

The conference which will be staged at the Golden Tulip Hotel (Accra) Conference Hall at 11am will be generally led by the company’s executive management or a press liaison or communications officer to respond to positive and negative news, for product launches, or to apprise the media and public about any other information about a company. The event is however opened to a selected group of intellectual practicing media personalities.

Livingstone Etse Satekla is the CEO of Burniton Music Group. He won the Best International Act: Africa category at the 2015 BET Awards and Artist of the Year at the 2015 Ghana Music Awards. He is recognized as the king of reggae and dance hall artists in Africa Stonebwoy is also an actor, having appeared in the movie My name is Ramadan.[6] He is a global ambassador for sanitation. In September 2019, he was made the brand ambassador for Voltic Natural Mineral Water, in a deal that could be renewed after two years.

Stonebwoy normally ragga in Jamaican Patois (Patwa or Patwah), and is considered a “multifaceted rapper” due to the various musical styles he possesses. In 2015, he received many awards and nominations ranging from “Artist of the Year” to “Album of the Year”. His sophomore album, Necessary Evil, was the recipient of 3 Ghana Music Awards from 6 nominations. Nana Appiah Mensah, CEO of gold dealership company Menzgold, sent out words of encouragement to Stonebwoy on Instagram for Stonebwoy being supportive.

He has been listed as part of the 2019 50 (fifty) young CEOs, by YCEO and Avance media.The list which was launched earlier in 2018, was set out to honor distinguished young individuals pursuing the course of providing solutions to some of Ghana’s pertinent problems.
