The Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection is warning the public to desist from sharing Akwapem Poloo’s nude birthday picture.
A statement dated July 1 2020 noted that “posting nude pictures on social media at all times is a serious offense and all must desist from the act” adding that sharing it I also an offence.
According to the statement, the ministry is “liasing with the appropriate agencies to deal with the issue.”

The actress’ son turned seven on June 30 2020 and to mark the celebration, she posted an image in which she squat naked in front of the boy.
After her post, the picture went viral and she received backlashes.
A letter signed by the Executive Director of the Child Rights International, Child Rights International (CRI), a non-governmental organisation, Bright Appiah petitioned the Criminal Investigations Department of the Ghana Police Service to bring the actress to order.
“As a child rights organisation, that believes in upholding the rights of children, we deem this act as a violation of the Welfare Principle of the Children’s Act and abuse of the child’s right to privacy and dignity. We wish to notify your esteemed office to investigate the taking of the said images and its circulation,’ he wrote.
Meanwhile the actress born Rosemond Brown in an Instagram video last night apologized to everyone who felt offended by the post adding that the picture was an artistic piece meant to send a message to children not to deject their parents in “naked” situations.
