Ghanaian music artiste and entrepreneur, Trigmatic, was present at the West Africa Business Forum held last week in Lagos, Nigeria.
The 3-day event under the theme “Empowering Women and Youth to Spur Africa’s Transformation Agenda,” was the first edition in a series of stakeholders’ engagements put together by the Economic Commission for Africa with top business leaders, and sector champions in Africa.
The summit included various activities such as panel discussions, exhibitions, mentoring sessions, presentations and many more.
Trigmatic, who may have been the only representative from Ghana, moderated the panel on the creative arts in Africa– leading the discussion in identifying the many opportunities and notable challenges surrounding the industry.
As part of the many ideas that went round the panel, the ‘My Life’ hitmaker stressed on applying the right business principles and the importance of visibility as necessary tools needed to tell the African stories, the African way.
The West Africa Business Forum is an initiative of the sub-regional Office for West Africa of ECA in partnership with Compass Global Business Services, working with a host of Coalition Partners.
