A lot of people are still on the mission to unravel the secret behind the current of the Nigerian music industry.
Nigerian music has gained a huge global acceptance with most Nigerian acts getting high-profile gigs and collaborations with international music icons.
This generated a lot of conversation in the Ghanaian music industry, with a lot of people saying Ghanaians need to learn from Nigerians, how they managed to invade other territories with their music.
But how did they do it?
Davido in an interview with Trevor Noah on The Daily Show said Nigerian music gained prominence in the Diaspora because Nigerians in those areas made it a conscious effort to promote Nigerian music.
According to him, those Nigerians would even go to clubs and pay the DJs to play Nigerian music.
