Popular actor and comedian, Clemento Suarez, has made some interesting revelations about the financial situation of Ghanaian entertainers, referring to them as popular but broke.
Clemento Suarez made the statement during an interview on Citi TV’s Upside Down show, adding that most popular people in creative arts do not make sufficient money to live up the status they hold in society.
He said in a bid to minimize the cost of moving from place to place, he currently patronizes the ride-hailing service, Uber, for his transport needs.
“Popular But Broke” is the name for comedian OB Amponsah’s upcoming show slated for December 2021.
