Twin celebrity photographers Emmanuel and Samuel Appiah Gyan, aka Twins Don’t Beg, have given a fascinating narrative of how they got into photography after failing at music.

The twins revealed in an interview on Citi TV’s Upside Down show that after graduating from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), they started a career in music and even recorded songs with Tema-based artistes, D-Cryme and Yaw Siki before deciding to go into acting and subsequently, photography.

According to the twins, they took photography seriously and were subsequently invited to work for the wife of the then running mate of the main opposition leader, Samira Bawumia, during the 2016 general elections which led to her becoming the second lady of the country in January 2017.

Twins Don’t Beg have since 2017 been working for the vice president’s wife as her official photographers.
