A lady at the New Life City Chapel in Kumasi has shared a testimony of how Akesse Brempong’s song saved her baby.
During a testimony session at one of their services recently, the lady said she and her husband have always been great fans of Akesse Brempong’s music.
According to her in a video sighted by ghanaweekend.com, her husband had even promised to invest in the gospel artiste’s career.
What even deepened their love for Akesse was how his song ‘Spontaneous Worship’ performed a miracle in their life.
She said after losing one pregnancy due to ectopic complications, and miraculously conceiving another child, they nearly lost the baby.
The lady noted that 38 weeks into the second pregnancy, she started having issues again. She had been told by the doctor that if in three days, the foetus did not prove to be active, she would lose it. They played Akesse’s music, and any time they did, the foetus made a movement.
Later, the situation got worse. She had a placenta abruption, a serious condition in which the placenta separates from the wall of the uterus before birth.
“When the doctor saw me, for about 45 minutes, he said to my husband they needed to save me and forget about the baby. The baby came out after the surgery and five minutes later, the nurse was trying to bring it to life yet, it wasn’t moving, crying, nothing,” she narrated.
“My husband brought her phone out and played your [Akesse Brempong’s] music, and my baby cried,” she added while giving her testimony in the church.
Overwhelmed by the news, Akesse Brempong took his Instagram page to write:
“Last Sunday, I was compelled by the Spirit to show up in Kumasi for a worship gathering with @newlifecitychapel. After 48 Hours of non-Stop prayers at Stand in the Gap @ewcprayerfactory and 2 services that Sunday morning, the logical thing to do was to lock myself up in the room and take some rest but for some reason, I felt compelled to show up in Kumasi for this event. I believe God wanted me in Kumasi to hear this testimony.
