Stonebwoy held the 7th edition of his ‘Ashaiman to the World’ concert on Saturday, September 3, 2022.

The concert, as usual, took place at the Sakasaka Park in Ashaiman.

As part of his aims to help project up and coming artistes, Stonebwoy provided a platform for some new acts to open the show.

Prior to this, these up and coming artistes were asked to register to perform, after which the entries were sifted for the main show.

The audience could not have enough of Stonebwoy as he mounted the stage dishing out hit songs from his repertoire.

Backed by the Bhim Band, Stonebwoy was on stage for hours as other supporting artistes also passed through to show solidarity.

There were performances from Mona 4Reall, Efya, Sista Afia, D-Black, Ras Kuuku, Adina and Amerado.

Others were Yaw Yog, Kofi Jamar, Mr. Drew, among others.

The ‘Ashaiman to the World’ concert took a two-year break due to COVID-19. It has always been the biggest entertainment event in the community since Stonebwoy started it about nine years ago.

According to Stonebwoy, he considers the concert as a Charity event for his people because he does not earn money from it.

Prior to the concert, there were other activities.  The Livingstone Foundation embarked on a number of projects.

There was a football tournament with 16 teams, volley ball, table tennis, snooker on Thursday, September 1, 2022.

On the following day, there was a free medical screening for the community (eye screening, HIV, hepatitis B and TB tests).

On the dey of the main event, there was a health walk this morning.

The main purpose of the concert (now festival) is to show the world the talent that Ashaiman has in the field of sports and entertainment.
