Nana Amo Baffour, the CEO of Modern Gospel Music Awards has urged organizers of various award schemes to uphold credibility virtues in their dealings.
Speaking to Debbielyn Jackson on the Red Carpet during the recently held MOGA AWARDS, Nana Amo said: “Our scheme is very credible but I will plead with my colleagues who organize awards to be credible too because some of the bad nuts are affecting the good once.”

He added that: “Incidentally, award schemes serve as honour and recognition for good work done. So any kind of award that will be given to an individual should represent the hardwork of the person.”
According to Nana Amo, some award schemes in Ghana are designed to celebrate and showcase only the well-known musicians, neglecting the younger ones who need that honour as encouragement and motivation to do more.
He further added that all award schemes in Ghana should honour older folks who paved the way for the new crop of musicians.
According to the MOGA boss, some award schemes in Ghana have lost their relevance. Because of this, they usually generate a lot of negative comments.
