The boss of Highly Spiritual Music,Kaywa has said that he has been disappointed by some of the artists who have left his label, but he is still proud of what he has accomplished.
“I don’t feel disappointed… If I look at these guys, I am very very proud of myself. My excitement is that I have been able to produce hit artistes not hit songs. When you mention their names, we’ve been behind them and we’re very proud of that.”
The legendary Ghanaian sound engineer believes that every individual has been called to be a destiny helper, and he is fine with not being appreciated for his efforts.
“I’m not one who just lets things go…We are created to be destiny helpers so we help destinies to become who they are and if for one reason or the other, we’re not appreciated, we’re cool.”
When asked who he would bring back on his label if he had the chance, Kaywa, who was speaking to Giovani Caleb and AG Sarpong on 3FM said that he would not do so.
“Unfortunately, that is not our style…We believe that the platform is always for freshers. When you have enjoyed it for a while and you leave, when we bring you back, it looks like we don’t know what we are about. We’d rather push a lot of energy in brand new acts but we do maintain a healthy relationship with them.”
