The manager of actress Fella Makafui, Richmond Amofa Sarpong, has denied reports suggesting she has been arrested for selling illegal products.
Reports were rife that Fella Makafui had been arrested by the Pharmacy Council and the Food and Drugs Authority for selling illegal products.
But speaking in a telephone conversation with GhanaWeekend, Richmond Sarpong divulged that Fella Makfui was just invited to answer some questions on some of her products which are still undergoing registration.
According to him, Fella Makafui presented all needed documentation including her license from the Ghana Traditional Medicine Practice along with details of her FDA-registered products.
“She was invited yesterday and departed soon after respectfully honouring the invitation. She shared all necessary information about the subject matter to assist the investigation and presented her license from the Ghana Traditional Medicine Practice along with details of her FDA-registered products. She provided information on the few products still undergoing the registration process”. He explained
He urged fans of the ‘’Yolo’’ actress to disregard the false reportage.
