Louddaaa, the dynamic and multi-talented producer from Lagos continues to make waves in the producing world with two captivating tracks featured on Ayra Starr’s latest project.

Louddaa ongoing collaboration with Ayra Starr reaches new heights on her latest project, “The Year I Turned 21,” where he contributes to two remarkable tracks.

On “Last Heartbreak Song,” featuring US R&B sensation Giveon, Louddaaa’s admiration for the artist shines through in an enchanting blend of soulful melodies and a heartfelt beat.

The second track, “Orun,” pays homage to Nigeria’s nostalgic Fuji genre, expertly infused with Louddaaa’s signature fusion of afrobeat and soul.

Born in Lagos and hailing from Ekiti State, Louddaaa’s journey to success is marked by hard work and dedication. During his NYSC period, he focused on music engineering. After numerous rejections, he landed a job as a recording engineer at Mavin Records.

This breakthrough allowed him to work with artists like Rema, Ayra Starr & Burna Boy, solidifying his place in the music industry. “I was so happy; it felt like God confirmed that he wanted me to be a recording engineer,” says Louddaaa.

After most sessions at Mavin, Louddaaa would stay back in the studio making beats for fun. One night, CEO of Mavin Records Don Jazzy suggested collaborating with Ayra Starr.

This spontaneous partnership marked the inception of Louddaaa’s flourishing career as a producer. It led to Louddaaa contributing to three tracks ‘Away’, ‘DITR’ and ‘Memories’ on Ayra’s self-titled debut EP followed by a further five tracks six months later on her first album ’19 & Dangerous’.

“Don Jazzy is a gift to the music scene. Since the day he trusted me to deliver a song, my confidence grew. That reinstated my belief in myself, and my production, and it is quite evident that there’s growth sonically. So, it has been very impactful, to say the least.” – Louddaaa

Following his remarkable achievements, Louddaaa has extended his collaborative efforts to renowned artists such as SIMI, Lojay, Chike, and Falz, among many others. His notable successes include steering Ayra Starr’s chart-topping single “Away” to the number 1 spot on the Nigerian charts and contributing to the Grammy-nominated Starr’s single “Sability” Louddaaa’s impact on the music industry has been profound, with his work surpassing an impressive 50 million streams on Spotify alone.

In recognition of his exceptional talent and contributions, he was honoured with the prestigious title of Afro Soul Producer of the Year in 2023

Louddaaa’s production style is defined by a soulful fusion of genres. His music evokes deep emotions, reflecting on his life struggles and influences.

Notable mentors during Louddaaa’s ongoing journey include role model Don Jazzy and Oscar Heman-Ackah, the producer behind many of Simi’s hits, who helped shape Louddaaa’s melodic tone.

Looking forward, Louddaaa aims to expand his horizons. He envisions releasing his producer-artist project, featuring various artists. His ambitions include diving into the tech industry and showcasing his drive to grow continually.
