In a world where technology is rapidly evolving, a young prodigy from Ghana is making waves with his innovative web-based application.

Bryon-Richard Papa Kwabla Dawson, a 10-year-old student from Hillview Montessori School and a member of the Ghana Code Club has developed a poultry management system to revolutionise how farmers manage their operations.

Bryon’s passion for technology and problem-solving led him to create his startup, Bryon AgroTech. With a keen interest in programming and a desire to make a difference, he set out to develop a solution that would streamline poultry farming processes.

Using his skills in Python Django for the backend and HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for the front end, Bryon built a sophisticated web application that helps farmers monitor production trends, inventory levels, and sales metrics.

By incorporating SQLite for development and Chart.js for data visualization, his system provides valuable insights that can help farmers make informed decisions and optimize their operations.

Despite his young age, Bryon’s dedication and talent have not gone unnoticed. His project earned him third place in the prestigious Coolest Projects Ghana Showcase and competition, where young tech makers from across the country gathered to showcase their innovations.

When asked about his motivation behind the project, Bryon explained, “I wanted to create something that could help farmers manage their businesses more efficiently because my parents own a poultry farm. I saw an opportunity to use technology to solve real-world problems, and I’m excited to see how my application can make a difference.”

Bryon’s achievement is a testament to the power of nurturing young minds and fostering a love for technology. With the support of his mentor, Daud Yakub and organizations like the Ghana Code Club and Raspberry Pi Foundation UK, as well as volunteers, Bryon and other young innovators are being given the tools and resources they need to bring their ideas to life.

As Bryon continues to refine and expand his poultry management system, the future looks bright for this young developer. His story serves as an inspiration to aspiring tech enthusiasts, proving that age is no barrier to making a meaningful impact in the world of technology.
