Kwame Asare Obeng , popularly known as A Plus, has lamented the salary he earns as a Member of Parliament, saying it’s not enough.
In an interview with Adom FM, the Gomoa Central MP disclosed that he was making more money in 24 hours in 2020 than he now makes monthly as a legislator.
A-plus added that it is tiring being an MP and that the about GH¢15,000 he takes monthly is not enough.
“I’m passionate about helping others, and it brings me joy to solve problems for people. However, being a Member of Parliament isn’t easy, and the salary isn’t great either.
“I take home around GH¢15,000, which isn’t sufficient. What’s surprising is that I earned more in 2020 than I do now as a Member of Parliament.”
