International TikTok sensation Khaby Lame, 25, voluntarily departed the United States on June 6, 2025, after being detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada, for immigration violations.
Lame, an Italian citizen with over 162 million TikTok followers and 80 million on Instagram, entered the US on April 30, 2025, and overstayed his visa, according to an ICE spokesperson.
He was granted voluntary departure and has since left the country.
The influencer, known for his silent, satirical skits mocking absurd “life hack” videos, has not commented on the detention. Fans expressed concern on his Instagram, with comments like, “Bro, you good?” and “I hope you are okay. Sorry you had to voluntarily deport!” One follower noted, “Every deportation is humiliating when you are not a criminal or have only exceeded a few days.”
Lame’s global appeal stems from his expressive, dialogue-free videos, making him TikTok’s most-followed user in 2025.
