Ghanaian-American singer and songwriter, Moliy Ama Montgomery, known for her chart-topping hit “Shake it to the Max,” has fired back at body shamers in an X post, turning criticism into a celebration of self-love.
The post, which has sparked a wave of support online, comes amid ongoing debates about body positivity in 2025.
In her post on Wednesday July 9, Moliy wrote, “The more you try to body shame me the more me and my fupa pull up with the sexiness so just tell me that’s what you wanna see cos idk why we’re going back and forth about this .”
The term “fupa” (fat upper pubic area) has become a focal point in the body positivity movement, and Moliy’s unapologetic stance has resonated widely.
