Renowned dancehall artiste Shatta Wale’s *Reign* and *Wonderboy* albums have been pulled from digital streaming platforms following accusations of copyright infringement by record producer MOG Beatz.
In a social media post, MOG Beatz alleged that Shatta Wale replaced his name with his own as the producer of approximately 25 tracks, which were originally produced by MOG Beatz and other producers.
MOG Beatz further claimed that Shatta Wale used these songs to deceive an international company, fraudulently earning millions by posing as the producer.
Verification on Apple Music confirms that both *Reign* and *Wonderboy* albums are no longer available on the platform, signaling the impact of the ongoing dispute.
The allegations have sparked discussions within the music industry about intellectual property rights and artist-producer relationships.
Shatta Wale has not yet publicly responded to the accusations. MOG Beatz’s claims highlight a broader issue of proper credit and compensation in music production, potentially leading to legal action or further investigation.
Shatta Wale, why did you scam a company using my intellectual property? If this is defamation, then prove it pic.twitter.com/KUnfdjIRwY
