The multi-award-winning Ghanaian entrepreneur and lifestyle influencer, Princess Amdia Burland–professionally known as Ama Burland–will make moves in Lagos this October at the Swedish streaming giant’s global project, “Afrobeats: Culture in Motion.”

If there’s one thing Ama Burland has proven over the years, it’s her eye for style. A fashionista in her own right, it’s fair to say she caught the attention of Spotify and Severe Nature. The popular content creator, including BlacVolta Founder and CEO, Joey Adjei, joins a select group of tastemakers for a multisensory experience in Lagos, celebrating five years of Afrobeats culture through a groundbreaking fusion of sound and fashion.

Dubbed “Afrobeats: Culture in Motion,” the four-day event (October 1st to 5th) will trace Afrobeats’ explosive rise worldwide on its home soil. The initiative will highlight Afrobeats’ 240M global discoveries in the past year, paving the way to Spotify’s forthcoming “The New Era of Afrobeats: The 2020s.” It will also seize the moment to blend fashion and Afrobeats’ vibrant culture through collaborations with four Nigerian designers.

Ama Burland will have the chance to meet the genre’s key cultural figures, build relationships with artists, producers, and international content creators, and capture unique content through studio visits, exclusive performances, and other high-profile meet-ups. This golden opportunity underscores her growing influence, news that comes as no surprise, given her work with multinational brands like Coca-Cola, Nivea, Dove Ghana, Unicaf, Vaseline, Vitamilk, Bolt, Geisha, and many more.

For Ama Burland, the invitation is more than a personal milestone. Her presence will spotlight the synergy between Nigeria and Ghana, as Ghanaian voices continue to shape Afrobeats worldwide.
