Ghana’s Kojo Junior made waves at the second edition of MAGGI’s MAGGIVerse, held recently in Lagos, Nigeria.
Representing Ghana at the two-day conference, he joined other top African creators to explore ways to grow the food content creation industry across West and Central Africa.

As a panelist for the session titled “The Palette of Digital Content,” Kojo brought his trademark energy and humour to discussions about the rise of food content, monetisation challenges, and new trends in digital culinary storytelling.
Reflecting on his creative journey, the multi-award-winning influencer shared, “There’s been an improvement in my content. I just started adding subtitles, so that’s good for me.”

He explained that this small but important change helps fans outside Ghana connect more easily with his videos.
Kojo also served as a judge on “The MAGGI Faceoff,” a live cooking competition that celebrated emerging culinary talent.

The winner received ₦500,000 and a scholarship to a top culinary school, reinforcing MAGGI’s dedication to nurturing young food innovators.
As the creator of the viral cookout show “Kojo Junior and Friends,” with over 1.5 million TikTok views, Kojo has redefined food entertainment.
Known for his witty Twi voiceovers and cultural flair, he continues to represent Ghana proudly in the evolving African creative scene.
