Jamaican dancehall artiste Popcaan was given a memorable cultural experience at the Shea Butter Museum during his recent visit to Ghana.
The award-winning musician was warmly hosted by renowned Ghanaian entrepreneur and model Hamamat Montia, who personally took him through the rich history and traditional process behind Ghana’s shea butter production.
During the visit, Popcaan explored the museum’s exhibits, learned about the cultural significance of shea butter in Northern Ghana, and experienced firsthand the craftsmanship involved in producing the natural product.
The dancehall star appeared visibly impressed by the depth of tradition and heritage on display.
Popcaan later described the experience as a “10/10,” expressing his excitement about sharing Ghana’s cultural wealth with international personalities.
He highlighted the importance of promoting indigenous products and traditions to the global community.
