Ghana’s Minister for Tourism, Creative Arts and Culture, Dzifa Gomashie, has commended dancehall star Stonebwoy for his exceptional role in promoting Ghana on the global stage through music.
Speaking in an interview on Face To Face on Channel One TV with Umaru Sanda on Tuesday February 24, the Minister praised Stonebwoy’s consistent efforts in projecting Ghanaian culture, sound, and identity to international audiences.
According to her the award-winning artiste has become one of Ghana’s strong cultural ambassadors, using his global platform to showcase the country’s rich heritage and creative excellence.
During the interview Madam Gomashie also acknowledged the broader creative community highlighting the collective efforts of Ghanaian artistes, filmmakers, and other industry players who continue to elevate the nation’s brand beyond its borders.
She reiterated the government’s commitment to supporting the creative arts sector, noting that practitioners like Stonebwoy play a vital role in driving tourism and strengthening Ghana’s cultural influence worldwide.
