The 2026 Heritage Caravan officially kicked off on March 1, 2026, with four fully loaded buses departing Accra amid excitement and high anticipation for the days ahead.
Organised by Channel One TV and Citi FM, this year’s edition brings together over 200 enthusiastic caravanites ready to embark on an eight-day cultural adventure across 14 regions of Ghana.
From the early hours of the morning, the departure grounds were charged with energy as participants checked in, received customised T-shirts and connected with fellow travellers ahead of the journey.

With the engines revving and cameras flashing, the mood was unmistakably festive. Strangers quickly became friends, bonded by a shared passion for exploration and cultural discovery.
The official departure marks not just the start of a road trip, but the beginning of an immersive experience designed to celebrate Ghana’s heritage in dynamic and engaging ways.

Ahead of them lies a packed itinerary of exciting activities. Caravanites will tour historic landmarks, explore cultural sites, and visit scenic destinations that showcase the country’s diversity.
A major highlight will be the stop at Maaha Beach Resort, where participants will unwind with live entertainment from the Nyinkyim Band and DJ Mingle.

Culinary exhibitions along the route will introduce participants to distinctive regional flavours, while interactive sessions and brand activations from partners including GOIL and Multi Pro Company promise added excitement throughout the journey.
As the convoy makes its way out of Accra today, the tone has been firmly set for eight days of adventure, entertainment and cultural immersion — a celebration of Ghana’s heritage brought vividly to life.
