The Livingstone Foundation, founded by dancehall artiste Stonebwoy and his wife Dr. Louisa Satekla, has led a humanitarian outreach initiative to the Nsawam Medium Security Prison, where food items and essential supplies were donated to support inmates as part of its ongoing charitable work.
The visit, anchored by the Foundation’s commitment to social impact and rehabilitation support, also provided an opportunity for direct engagement with inmates.
The couple spent time interacting with inmates, offering words of encouragement, hope, and emotional support.
Prison authorities welcomed the initiative, describing it as impactful beyond material donations.
According to officials, such engagements contribute meaningfully to rehabilitation efforts by boosting morale and reinforcing messages of reintegration, second chances and social acceptance.
The Livingstone Foundation’s outreach is part of a broader agenda focused on humanitarian assistance and community upliftment with particular attention to vulnerable and marginalised groups.
As part of the visit, Stonebwoy further pledged continued support for the inmates, including a commitment to stage an annual live concert within the Nsawam facility.
The proposed concert is expected to bring music and entertainment into the prison environment, serving as a tool for emotional upliftment and rehabilitation support.
The initiative adds to the Foundation’s growing portfolio of philanthropic interventions, reinforcing its role in driving social impact initiatives across Ghana.
