Content creator Gisela Amponsah has clarified that she has never intentionally put her private relationships in the public domain, despite widespread social media discussions about her love life.
Speaking in an interview on TV3 on Tuesday, May 5, Gisela Amponsah explained that bloggers were responsible for making her relationship public.
“I never made my relationship public. It was mainly bloggers,” she said.
According to her, an experience between 2018 and 2019, where she voluntarily shared her relationship, turned out to be deeply traumatic and shaped her decision to keep her personal life private.
“I had a situation back in 2018 or 2019 where I willingly made a relationship public at that time, and it was so traumatic for me. So that was when I decided I’m never doing that again.”
Gisela emphasised that since then, she has deliberately avoided featuring any partner in her content, insisting that her brand is centred on herself and her interests—not her relationships.
“There’s no video of mine or any content of mine that you actively see me showing off a partner. I don’t want my content to be about that.”
She further noted that online speculation about her alleged partner was entirely beyond her control, as bloggers identified and circulated information without her confirmation.
“They found the person, they posted the person, they said a whole bunch of things… I didn’t even put the person out there in the first place.”
Gisela stressed that such experiences have reinforced her resolve to keep her relationships strictly private, even in the future.
“Even if I get married right now, you’ll never catch my husband and me anywhere.”
