A Massachusetts jury has acquitted Stefon Diggs of all charges related to an alleged assault on his personal chef, bringing a swift end to the case after less than two hours of deliberation.
The charges stemmed from a December 2025 incident in which the chef, Jamila Adams, accused Diggs of physical assault.
However, during the two-day trial, the defence highlighted inconsistencies in her testimony, lack of physical evidence, and behaviour that contradicted her claims.
Witnesses also testified that she showed no signs of injury after the alleged incident.
Despite the prosecution urging the jury to consider the emotional context of Adams’ account, jurors ultimately found the evidence insufficient and returned a not guilty verdict on all counts.
The acquittal clears Diggs of any legal wrongdoing and could revive his NFL career, which had been uncertain due to the case hanging over him.
