Media personality Nana Aba Anamoah has publicly reacted to the apology issued by Joseph Adjei Junior, popularly known as BlacVolta, over resurfaced old tweets that sparked widespread criticism online.
BlacVolta had released a statement on Thursday, May 14, 2026, apologising for offensive posts from his old social media account after facing backlash amid discussions surrounding his association with socialite SoAfrican.
Reacting on X, Nana Aba expressed dissatisfaction with a section of the statement where BlacVolta indicated his intention to work with organisations in Ghana focused on gender-based violence awareness, women’s empowerment and digital responsibility.
She strongly rejected the proposal, questioning his credibility to engage in advocacy related to women and children.
“No. You won’t do that. You don’t have what it takes to speak on behalf of any woman or child. Your fellow men don’t support it either. Go and seek professional help. You need it urgently,” she stated.
Her response has since generated reactions across social media, with many users weighing in on the apology and broader conversations surrounding accountability and the impact of past online conduct.
The reaction comes as public scrutiny continues around individuals linked to the ongoing controversy surrounding SoAfrican, whose arrest over alleged online sexual exploitation has sparked extensive discussions online.
