Ghanaian disc jockey and entertainer, Erica Tandoh, known in showbiz as DJ Switch has advised parents and mentors to pay attention to the needs of young people.
Basing her presentation on what she called the ‘Three Key Points’, DJ Switch said parents and the elderly should allow the young ones to tell what is on their minds, listen to them and clarify what they say.
Explaining her ‘TLC’ key points she said:” the ‘T’ stands for ‘tell.’ Allow we the young one young to tell you our dreams, our needs and wants, and also the challenges we face. ‘L’, listen. Listen to us carefully. Because we are curious, we say things the way we see them. ‘C’ means clarify. Clarify what we say so that you can understand us and build the solutions around us because the future of my generation is what matters,” she said.
Erica who also performed at the programme, met with some of the most influential leaders of the world that were present at the programme.
