I have been missing on the Citi TV music reality show, the Voice Factory radar for the past week. My television suffered severe damage to the screen due to some low voltage I have been experiencing.
Thank God I was able to get to watch it somewhere.
Citi TV, as usual, doesn’t fail. They are trying their best to stay relevant especially with this programme.
PRESENTERS
AJ Akuoko Sarpong my sister, looked splendid in her outfit and presentation. She was straight to the point and made the screen so attractive to watch even when the contestants were boring with their performances. Kudos. Her father is the Chief of Agogo Asante Akyem, my hometown.
JUDGES
They never disappoint. Well cut for the job. Their expressions and motivations to the contestants are very encouraging and helpful. However, I didn’t like the outfit of Okyeame Kwame for the night. A tank top(singlet)? It looked odd. Can’t Woodin sponsor the judges’ outfit at least for the event?
CONTESTANTS
They did their best as usual to impress the judges, the audience and the viewers. There wasn’t any wow factor in their performance except for the standing ovation given to Ajay Sam.
Charisma always goes off-key though very vibrant and active on the stage. Cleck Boyson has a way of tickling himself. Over elaboration on his vocals.
Kennie Kings had a disconnection between him and the backup vocals. Araba, Idara, Lina and Debbie also had challenges with their performances. Some very good. Debbie’s was struggling with the low notes on Celestine Donkor’s ‘Okronkronhene’.
BAND AND PRODUCTION
The Musical Lunatics are indeed crazy with their performances. Very tight band. Big ups. Production and technical support were also on point.
CONCLUSION
It keeps getting better. The judges should be seen taking a sip of the main sponsor’s drink Beta Malt put on the table. It is always left unopened. It is there for a purpose! Lol.
Also, the applause and the cheers from the audience sound so artificial. Even if the performance is some way, you hear wow! Let’s make it lively small. Lol
