Actress Lydia Forson took to Twitter to defend the new Comprehensive Sexuality Education initiative set to roll out in basic schools across the country.
In a series of tweets on her page, the actress is not happy with people who are condemning the Ghana Education Service’s initiative.
She also blames some media houses for causing the outrage and displeasure parents showing towards the new curriculum.
One of such tweets said sex education would have saved a great deal of today’s youth while another said if children are not taught in the right way, they will be introduced to the act by ‘some adults’
“Sex education would have saved so many of you (us) from bad sex,” she tweeted.
All this outrage because some media houses chose to sensationalize the discussion of the GES curriculum, and others chose to spread false documents in support.
