Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale is calling on the youth of Ghana to rise up and contribute their part to the development of the country.
Quoting the first line of the popular patriotic song, ‘Arise Ghana Youth,’ Shatta Wale tweeted that young people must be ready to save the nation from sinking.

The Ghanaian economy is currently facing serious challenges with high inflation and high unemployment.
According to the recently released Ghana Population and Housing Census report, Ghana’s current unemployment rate is at an all-time high.
Shatta Wale’s call comes after similar sentiments were expressed by his colleagues in the entertainment industry following the government’s announcement of the proposed introduction of the Electronic Transactions Levy (E-levy).
I went to buy gas the other day…..i couldn’t believe how much i was told to pay… @NAkufoAddo is this what you promised Ghanaians ?

Fuel prices are skyrocketing.

You don’t know economics.
You don’t understand policy.Ok- I don’t.
How many of your leaders have one?
I dont need an economic degree to question why a broke country wanted to spend millions on a presidential jet?
Why spend on a WANT and not a NEED?
