Budding Ghana singer-songwriter, Cielo Bee has been crowned the winner of Voice Factory season 5.
She beat off stiff competition from 10 other contestants to win the grand prize, which includes a GH¢20,000 cash prize and an all-expense paid trip to Dubai.
Cielo Bee, whose real name is Benedicta Mawutor Agbana, is a graduate of the University of Ghana, Legon. She is also a makeup artist and a student of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (Level 1).
Cielo Bee’s journey on Voice Factory began with an audition, in which she performed a rendition of Adele’s “Someone Like You.”.
The grand finale of Voice Factory Season 5 kicked off with a bang on Saturday, September 16, 2023. Jerry EL opened the show with a puissant rendition of “Wash the Tears” by Gramps Morgan.
Manuel, Titi, Seyiram, Ernest, Princess, Jerry EL, Bella, AG Wilson, Kleos, Rigwello and Cielo Bee all delivered impressive performances.
The grand finale was cleaved into two rounds, with five of the eleven contestants being eliminated in the first round.
Cielo Bee competed against Jerry EL, Manuel, Ernest, and Seyiram in the final round of the grand finale.
She triumphed over the ten other talented contestants after amassing the highest votes and with her unflinching live performances throughout the competition to win the Voice Factory Season 5 grand prize, a GH¢20,000 cash prize and an all-expense paid trip to Dubai.
Jerry EL and Rigwello tied for first and second runner-up respectively in the competition.
