“Two Six and Loss” is a comic-drama stage play exploring the journey of Valentine, an African American, who marries Opoku, a Ghanaian and travels to his village.
However, Opoku’s family disapproves of his union with Valentine. The situation intensifies when Opoku’s childhood love, Serwaa, enters the scene and ends up moving to his compound, becoming Valentine’s rival.
Chaos ensues within the family, with Wofa Yaw supporting Opoku’s marriage to Valentine. Moreover, there is a twist as Serwaa and Valentine team up against Opoku after realising Opoku has another woman.
Tensions escalate, leading Valentine to make the difficult decision to relocate to Massachusetts.
The comic-drama is set to be premiered at the the Art centre on 8th, Feb, 2024.
