Ghanaian media personality, health advocate, and kidney disease survivor Abigail Ashley is celebrating her birthday in a meaningful way—with the release of her inspiring new memoir, Grace and Grit, a deeply personal and moving account of her 18-year journey battling chronic kidney disease.
In Grace and Grit, Abigail chronicles her diagnosis with end-stage kidney failure in 2007, when she was given just five years to live.
