TikTok content creator Priscilla Kyeremaa, popularly known as Priscy Wan, has disclosed that some people have suggested she arm herself due to the controversial opinions she shares online.
Speaking on the Okukuseku Talk Show with actress and television host Emelia Brobbey on Tuesday, June 2, Priscy Wan disclosed that concerns about her safety have become common because of the nature of her content and commentary on social media.
“There are a couple of times that someone has told me that they’d want to register a gun for me because of the controversial stuff I say and how I talk about people online,” she said.
Despite the concerns, the TikTok personality insists that she speaks with a clear conscience whenever she discusses issues involving public figures and trending topics.
“I have a clear mind when talking about people, but I can’t say it in a simple or subtle way. I can never do that, and a lot of people actually do tell me they’re scared for my life.”
According to her, some individuals have even offered to take her to spiritual protection centres because they fear she could face backlash from people offended by her remarks.
“Some even ask me if I’m protected and propose that I follow them to a place for protection, but honestly, I don’t even pray when I’m about to sleep. I’m sure it’s my mum’s prayers that keep me going because when I’m sleeping, I forget about everything and sleep,” she added.
