A conversation recently broached on social media by Ghana Weekend’s Kwame Dadzie has already gotten a lot of people talking.

In a post, he sought to find out which country would win if there was a rap battle between Ghana and Nigeria.

While some believe Ghana has very good rather and will trounce Nigeria any day, others are of the opinion that, Ghanaian rappers cannot stand the rap prowess of their Nigerian counterparts.

For the Ghanaian squad, names like Sarkodie, M.anifest, Strongman, C-Real, EL, Jay So, Gemini, Eno, Worlasi, Ball J, Jay So, Lyrical Joe, Paedae, Obibini, Reggie Rockstone, TeePhlow, Recognise Ali, J Town, Obibini, Kojo-Cue, came up.

Nigerian rappers whose names got mentioned are MI, Vector, Phyno, Jesse Jagz, Falz, Naeto C, Blaqbonez, Sasha P, Ice Prince, Ycee, Olamide, Eva, among others.

Maybe some event company should consider putting this battle up. Apart from the entertainment benefit, this is going to be a good marketing avenue for rappers in both countries.
