The Ghanaian music scene has been thrown into disarray following a heated online feud between rappers Amerado and Medikal.
The two artists took to X, formerly Twitter, to exchange jabs, with the spat centering on claims of popularity, financial transparency, and personal controversies.
The feud took a dramatic turn when Amerado accused Medikal of engaging in fraudulent activities, suggesting that such dealings were the source of his wealth and influence.
He further implied that Medikal used this wealth to chase clout and criticised him for allegedly canceling a New York show due to lack of attendance.

Medikal, known for his hit track La Hustle, fired back, dismissing Amerado’s claims and belittling his crowd-pulling power. Medikal claimed that Amerado couldn’t even sell out a small local restaurant like Lindador.

Amerado, not one to back down, retaliated by calling out Medikal by accusing his ex-wife, Fella Makafui, of infidelity.
