Actor and content creator Jeffrey Nortey has signed a 12-month brand ambassadorial deal with optical services company,Robert and Sons Ltd, a partnership aimed at increasing awareness about eye care while strengthening the company’s reach across Ghana.

The agreement, signed on Thursday, May 7, will see Jeffrey Nortey become the face of the company through digital campaigns, public engagements and brand activations designed to improve customer engagement and visibility for the optical brand.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Business Development Manager Jerome Adzah explained that the partnership became necessary as competition within the market continues to grow, despite the company’s years of professional service delivery.

“Even if you have a very good product, products do not have legs or mouths to talk and walk. We have been providing excellent customer service and professional services to our clientele over the years. The market is becoming highly competitive and so if you don’t do anything about it, we will find ourselves at the other side,” he said.

According to him, the company chose Jeffrey Nortey because of the strong connection he has built with audiences through his entertaining and relatable content.

“We want to get a voice and create a very good impression about ourselves and make it louder to our audience, especially the audience Jeffrey appeals to most. People want to be sold to in a more entertaining form and not be bored with too much corporate presentation,” Jerome Adzah added.

He revealed that discussions between both parties had been ongoing for nearly four months before the partnership was officially formalised.

Robert and Sons Ltd currently operates nine branches across Ghana, with seven located in Accra, one in Koforidua and another in Kumasi. The company also runs a mobile optical service unit and a digital platform that allows customers to book appointments and make purchases online.

Beyond acting and comedy, Jeffrey Nortey has consistently used his platform to promote conversations around health, wellness and lifestyle habits, often integrating socially conscious themes into his storytelling and online content.

That advocacy-driven image is believed to have influenced the partnership, aligning naturally with Robert and Sons Ltd’s focus on quality eye care and improved customer experience.

Jeffrey Nortey, on his part, pledged to represent the brand to the best of his ability and convert his influence into measurable growth and sales for the company.
